What it does

DryDash is a reusable silica gel pouch for your car. While the car is parked, it soaks up moisture from the cabin air: the damp that comes in on snowy boots, wet coats and floor mats. Less moisture inside means less fog and frost forming on the inside of your glass by morning, and a fresher-smelling car.

It works on the inside only. It doesn't melt ice or snow on the outside of the windshield.

How to use
  1. Lay it flat on the dashboard while you're parked (or under a seat, in a door pocket or in the trunk).
  2. Leave it there. No plug, no batteries, no setup.
  3. Move it off the dash before you drive so nothing slides around or blocks your view.
  4. When the circle turns pink, recharge it.
Recharging

When the indicator turns pink, the pouch is full. Recharge it following the instructions that come with it (a few short rounds in the microwave or a few hours on a warm radiator). Let it cool fully, check the circle is blue again, and put it back. Recharge as often as you need.

What it fixes

One pouch. Three winter headaches.

Overnight

Foggy, frosty glass

Moisture in the cabin settles on cold glass overnight. Less damp inside means less to wipe off in the morning.

Wet winter floor mat with DryDash pouch on the seat

Soggy floor mats

Snow from your boots melts and soaks in. DryDash pulls the damp out of the air so mats dry instead of staying wet.

Wet snowy trunk with DryDash pouch

That musty smell

Damp hiding under mats and in the trunk is where the stale smell starts. A drier car simply smells fresher.

How it works

It pulls the damp out of the air.

Silica gel inside the pouch soaks up moisture from the cabin air while you're parked. Less moisture inside means less of it ends up on your glass.

  • 2Beads hold the waterMoisture stays locked in the beads. Nothing drips, nothing to empty.
  • 3Circle turns pinkWhen it's full, the dot changes color. Recharge it and go again.

Questions

Good questions. Straight answers.

Does it melt ice on the outside of my windshield?

No. DryDash works inside the car. It soaks up moisture from the cabin air, so less fog and frost forms on the inside of the glass. It doesn't heat anything or melt outside ice and snow.

What do blue and pink mean?

Blue means the pouch is dry and working. Pink means it's full of moisture and needs a recharge.

How do I recharge it?

Follow the instructions that come with it: a few short rounds in the microwave or a few hours on a warm radiator until the circle is blue again. Let it cool before you put it back.

How long does it take to turn pink?

It depends on how damp your car gets. A car with wet boots, a dog or snow on the mats fills it faster than a dry garage-kept one.

One pouch or two?

One on the dash is enough for most cars. For SUVs, vans, trucks or very damp cars, use two: one in front, one in the back or trunk.

Is it safe to keep on the dashboard?

It's a soft, sealed fabric pouch with no liquid. Keep it on the dash while you're parked and move it off before you drive, so it never blocks your view or slides around.

When will my order arrive?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days and arrive about 7–14 days after that. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund you. No awkward questions.
